Avenue of the Giants - Humboldt Redwoods SP

On the way back to San Francisco from Patrick's Point we decided to take a scenic byway (in spirit of my resolution from four years ago to always take the road less travelled!) and drive through Humboldt Redwoods SP on the Avenue of the Giants. It was definitely very picturesque, but also way slower than Hwy 101 that was paralleling it... Luckily there are several places at which the two roads meet, so you can "escape" from the park once you get saturated with the redwoods.
