To my great surprise when we arrived in Zakopane its streets were completely empty. I am not sure if it was because of the bad weather (it was raining slightly the whole day we were there), or because we were there relatively early in the morning (around 11am). Without crowds Zakopane is actually quite pretty and enjoyable. Also, there are many pubs, coffee places and restaurants that are stylized to resemble old Polish houses. Many of them offer traditional Polish dishes, which I enjoyed eating.
