My parents like Krynica as it is always lively and there are many people on the city's main walkway. I found it boring and overly touristy. It seems to me that it is a good place to hang out for the older folks, but not so much the younger, more sportive, crowd. I was also surprised how difficult it was to find there a typical Polish restaurant. Most places were only offering pizzas and pastas. We ended up eating in "Malopolanka", which was the place where we originally were supposed to stay before we changed our plans and went to Szczawnica. It was reasonably good, but nothing to write poems about.
