Krabi doesn't have much to offer. The town is small, crowded, and polluted; there are no beaches; and even its supposedly famous weekend night market is mediocre compared to other markets we visited in Thailand. My recommendation: leave Krabi as soon as possible and head for one of the nearby beach resorts such as Ao Nang, Rai Leh, or Nopparat Thara.

At the night market I was the most impressed by this street vendor/artists, who could effortlessly paint cute elephants on T-shirts and small bags. Of course, I had to support his business and I bought a T-shirt from him. One of you might be lucky to get it soon :)

Near the market in Krabi there's also a temple worth taking a look at.
