The
Niedzica Castle was built ca. 1330 by Kokosz Berzewicza to protected the north Hungarian border. The castle has very picturesque setting on a hill above the Dunajec River and apparently it is inhabited by a ghost:

Unfortunately, the castle was closed on the first Christmas day when we were there, so we managed to only see it from outside:
