Rocky Mountain National Park was one of the biggest surprises of my last year's "national parks tour." First, I was (positively) surprised that there were hundreds of hikers, many with small kids, on the trail in the early hours of a random Wednesday. Second, I was surprised how similar this part of the Rockies is to the Polish Tatra Mountains!
